Charged scrawlings act as after thought to paint splatter and/or acrylic mess led by deep emotion; presenting inhibitions as backdrop.

Perhaps, uh… An observation(?): GAY MALE begins practice as an abstract painter. IT IS DIFFICULT to shut up. One must work… Tongue is bitten. Large shows made, much attention. New familiar body of work available – but this time – with sore thumb.

Sore thumb illustrates crystal clear MALE ON MALE activity.

Please note: SORE THUMB is on display.

Much like in WARNER BROTHERS cartoons; TWEETY, SPEEDY, DROOPY DOG, ROAD–FACE–RUNAWAY–DEAD–HEAD–BIRD, ugh, I don’t know – anything of that calibre really, SORE THUMB throbs in the most animated way available. An injury… Red, pulsating… hellooooo. Loaded arrows BREED around digit and ravenous social spotlight is directed in direction.

SORE THUMB desperately beckons passersby/ outside traffic/ any and all in ear shot.
